Condition Should Read "NEW BUT"
First of all, the box is a little bit battered, and that is the major reason the box has been opened, to make sure everything is all there. we inventoried each and every piece. It is all there down to the last nut. But we took everything out of the box, photographed it, and put it back in the box that just needed a little bit of love and that's all. First point: Everything is here, unused and undamaged. Secondly, since the product does not seem to be available anywhere but here, we could not take pictures of it without taking the items out of the box to take pictures of them. So, is it used? No. It hasn't even been put together. Is it Brand New? Probably not by everyone's definition of that? But is it New? WE would say so just based on the definition of Used alone. It has not been "used" for anything other than our taking a few photos of the parts to show you they are all there. It is not used, therefore it is new.
With the above said, we are going to discount it and for the sake of name calling, calling it slightly used. So
please buy it "New But" and "as is".
And lastly, we have taped the pooh out of the box, so we are pretty darn confident that it will hold together fine on the trip to you. If we were not confident, we would not risk offending the new owner by shipping it partway there and having pieces galling out of it clear across Iowa. All of the small pieces, that is anything smaller than the basketball, has been taped in a baggy, rolled up and taped some more to assure you that each nut and bolt will make it to you.
Inside you will find the backboard, the goal, the net. You will find a short pole, and an extension to give you a selection of heights. You will find a base that can be filled with sand or water or both and attached with four struts to the pole to give it all stability. You will find a basketball and a small pump and needle to inflate the ball with. And you will find Four medium sized bolts with two washers each and four nuts total. You will find three longer bolts with nuts and two washers each even though the instructions only call for two. There are also two small bolts with one washer each that do not call for nuts in the instructions.  There is a knob to tighten the post into whichever height position you want it in.
